PROJECTS

OVERVIEW

Edesa’s current focus is on the Tetipac area with the development of four historically active mines:
  1. Monte Carlo
  2. La Argentina
  3. El Coral
The project is located between Mexico City and Acapulco in the heart of the Tetipac mining district of Mexico’s silver belt.

Mining in the Tetipac district dates back to the 1530s when it was actively mined for its rich mineral deposits. The last exploration in the region stopped in 1983 due to the low silver prices during the 1980’s. The time has now come for production at Tetipac to resume:
  • Extensive metallurgical and geological analysis has already been conducted
  • Current silver deposit estimates total 1.15 million tons of ore
  • Very high silver prices
  • The area is surrounded by excellent infrastructure with mine entrances having access to roads, water and electricity.

THE MINES

Edesa's Project consists of four historically-active mines plus some surface rights where a mill was active in the past.

  1. Monte Carlo
  2. La Argentina
  3. El Coral

The mining claims cover an area of over 320 hectares. Besides the claims, Edesa also has some surface rights.

Extensive metallurgical and geological analysis has been completed on each mine. As recently as 1983, an independent Canadian company, Asamera Minerals Inc from Calgary, completed a reserve study that reported a total of proven, probable, possible and inferred ore of 1.15 million tons.

In 1983, the analysis was reviewed by Ralf M. Kleine, a Canadian mining engineer; who recently retired from Starcore.

Previous geological and metallurgical analysis show that the mines contain high grade silver with an estimate of 300 to 800 grams of silver per ton as well as some gold , copper, lead and zinc. Veins in Edesa’s mines range from 1.00 to 3.65 meters wide.

Asamera Inc. reported the following:

La Argentina Mine

Proven Ore 12,687 tons 9.00 oz Ag
Probale Ore 30,571 tons 8.67 oz Ag
Possible Ore 119,877 tons 8.34 oz Ag

Monte Carlo Mine
Stockpile (proven) Ore 50,000 tons 7.72 oz Ag
Possible Ore 288,000 tons N/A
nferred Ore 462,500 TONS N/A
